The Light of Life Mission held its annual Yinzer 5K so we took the Pittsburgh Party Pedaler – a/k/a the #YinzerMobile – out to North Park and rode around on it while everyone else was working hard running the 5K!  We had Ryan Recker, Celina Pompeani, Jimmy Krenn and Jackie Cain all talking about Olympic dreams while John Knight was field reporting from the 5K course.

Episode Music: Meeting of Important People, “I Know Every Street in this Town”

• 00:55     I got to stand in the middle of the Pittsburgh Party Pedaler AGAIN while everyone else did the work.  Our theme, since we are at the Yinzer 5K, is an Olympics theme.
• 02:42     Jim Krenn was the MC of the Yinzer 5k.  Funny thing….he selected one of the non-pedaling seats on the Party Pedaler…he’s very wise!
• 07:55     Jackie Cain and Celina Pompeani…. They have a great “we met on twitter” story!  Celina is the in-game reporter for the Pittsburgh Penguins and Jackie is the evening anchor for WTAE-TV. Has Celina agreed to bring us the Stanley Cup?  What are their Olympic dreams?
• 13:48     John Knight’s first report from the course.  He says he’s way ahead of everyone.
• 14:31     Jessi Dobos Marsh of the Light of Life Rescue Mission. She has the best, made-up Pittsburgh Olympic event!
• 18:20     Kevin and Ron are our Party Pedaler drivers.  Kevin has an EXTREME Pittsburgh Olympic event in mind!
• 21:26     John Knight reports in from the finish line?
• 22:10     We’re trying to wrap this thing up but and John Knight finds WTAE-TV’s Ryan Recker somewhere. He gives Ryan some nutrition tips.
• 24:29     Jim Krenn agrees to never, ever wear a Speedo bathing suit again and creates a new Olympic sport!
