Dorin Dickerson is a former All-American tight end for the University of Pittsburgh Panthers who went on to play six seasons in the NFL. A local product, Dorin began as a Western Pennsylvania high school football star from West Allegheny. Now “Scorin Dorin” Dickerson podcasts about Pitt Panthers football, the NFL and WPIAL football with a perspective gained from knowledge and experience at all three levels of the game – high school, college and professional.
EPISODE #002 – SHOW NOTES
Dorin opens the show recapping the Pitt Panthers’ win over Villanova and previews this weekend’s game: Penn State at Pitt. Dorin also throws in a little of the history of the rivalry and his personal family connections to Penn State. He then looks at a couple other key games in NCAA football, notably the close Texas win over Notre Dame and the heated Florida State victory over Ole Miss.
Dorin wraps up the show with a look to the NFL: Dak Prescott in for Tony Romo at Dallas, Dorin’s Draft-Classmate Sam Bradford traded to the Vikings to replace the injured Teddy Bridgewater, and previews Steelers at Redskins on MNF and the season-opening Super Bowl rematch of Carolina at Denver.
